God gave our current Senior Pastor, Shawn Allen, 

a vision in 2014 for what he now calls Missional Unity: 

inspiring Christians, congregations, and ministries to partner together on God’s mission. 

In 2017, several congregations and ministries started a ministry called Community Life

to help accomplish that vision. 

Pastor Shawn shared with Church in the Palms in July

that God is calling him to transition from Church in the Palms to Community Life

so he can fully invest his ministry in facilitating missional unity. 

The leaders of Church in the Palms affirm this call of God on Pastor Shawn’s life.

Since Pastor Shawn won’t be pastoring a congregation, 

he will be raising support so he can help many congregations, ministries, and individuals

partner together on God’s mission.
